Observing the Jal Pakhwada from 16th to 30th April 2025

Observing JAL PAKHWADA from 16th to 30th April 2025.
Govt of India is observing Jal Pakhwada from 16″to 30 April 2025 ensuring focused
participation of students, teachers and parents with all stakeholders to promote Water
conservation setting up Jal Shakti Kendra intersive afforestation and awareness generation in
schools.
Following suggested participatory activities may be undertaken during this period:
1. Jal Shapath may be organized by all schools and educational institutions on the first
working day of the Pakhwada and during morning assemblies every day, where in all
students and teachers/staff may participate.
2. Holding meeting of SMCIPTAS or workshops in the first week of the Pakhwada to highlight the importance of “Water Conservation” in school as well as home. Workshops
on Water Conservation may also be included in the school syllabi to spread awareness
for water conservation.
3. Competitions will be organised for conserving water in schools; Debates/Essay/Quiz competition among students for conserving water in schools, homes , localities . Painting competition for students, teachers and parents.
4. Debates on conserving water awareness messages will be posted on the website of the Vidyalaya. Alternatively, Photographs on water conservation will be displayed in school Website.
Our vidyalaya is going to observe Jal Pakhwada ( a 15 days awareness programme) for water conservation in our vidyalaya.
Under this Pakhwada multiple competitions and awareness programs will be organised with active participation of teachers and students in our vidyalaya viz. Debate , painting, quiz , essay writing , mime , slogan writing competition etc.
Such activities helps the students to bring forward the best of their ideas for the betterment of school and society.
